Since July 2016 I have been engaged in learning more about the Waldorf approach to education. I enrolled in the Foundations Course I through the Rudolph Steiner Centre in Toronto and hope to complete the second half of this course in the Winter of 2017. I have found this experience to be deeply enriching and useful to my own work with mainstream Bachelor of Education students and Graduate students in Education.

I am curious about how my own interests in inquiry based learning, literacy education, and environmental education may intersect with this philosophy. This experience may well lead to a fully developed research project during my sabbatical year 2018-2019.
